What materials did you use? 100% English Wool ($42/yard); Non-fusible hair canvas; Fusible knit interfacing; Silk thread (pad stitching undercollar and lapels); Cotton/Polyester thread; Rayon lining; buttons... and tons of patience.

What are you most proud of? The pad stitching of the undercollar and lapels...

What advice would you give someone starting this project? Don't rush it... have the necessary skills and patience to enjoy each step and the process of making a unique garment.

Congrats on your coat! Did you make another one for this winter? I'd like to know where in the garment district you had the buttonholes made? I'm always looking for great resources in the garment district.
