What are you most proud of? It looks just as good as the bag from the course! And you can carry a TON of stuff - the bag is quite roomy. As you can see, I made this bag twice the normal size, just using scraps from my stash. I decided to piece the accent strip out of rainbow fabric. I also boxed the bottom, again to try a new technique, and finished with French seams. I also put little pull tabs on the sides, just to make it easier to open the bag once it was "drawn" shut. I like it!

What advice would you give someone starting this project? Just go for it and make this bag, or two, three, or more of them. They are easy, fast, and fun. I did have a bit of trouble making the draw cord [I tried, but it was NOT a good experience], so I cheated a little by buying 3 yards of 1/2 inch cotton webbing. Much easier. Shhh, don't tell the teacher! LOL
