Hi Heidi, hopefully this will help you. The project was mainly basic stringing. I felt like I could unify all of the different colors by making the seed beads between them a consistent pattern. I used cube beads next to the multi-colored beads, an 8 seed bead next to the glass beads, and size 15 beads as well. The reason for the various sizes was to add interest, but the fifteens often get absorbed by beads with enlarged holes. I crimped each end twice for security and because I was using a magnetic clasp that is really strong. I ran the wire through a wire guardian, as well, before crimping. I hope that helps you. Have fun! I am glad that you like it. Oh, and the finished necklace measures 50 1/2 inches long.
