Hi ,love it and the colours
Thank you Isabel, I have had many nice comments about this quilt, it was one of the easiest quilt that I have made, I think it is all about the fabric choice, sometimes the less complicated the pattern the better, it gives the fabric a chance to shine. So glad you like it.
I just love this quilt. As you said so simple but the fabric says it all. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you for sharing your gorgeous quilt and the easy instructions. May I ask how you matched the sashing strips so beautifully and flawlessly?
Hi. to match the sashing strips, after joining each row of blocks I have sewn a strip of sashing to one side and used a ruler on each side of the block and made a temporary mark on the on the other side of the sashing so that they lined up perfectly. I hope this helps you
This quilt is actually from a pattern I published in 2010. It is called San Francisco Window boxes and it is for sale on this site. The designer is Sweet Jane.
