Share a little about the materials, processes and techniques used to create this cake: Mask to use as a former for 50/50 mask..Gumpaste for peacock feathers..flower fondant candy former..candy luster dusts..disco glitter to match.. Multi colored buttercream frosting in co~ordinating colors.. I draped Mardi gra beads over the completed cake. Royal icing was used to attach feathers to mask and to as texture to mask

What are you most proud of? The mask and frosting job.. I call it punchball frosting..loss like one i had as a child. People always think the mask was purchased from a store but my cake topper mask is actually edible.

What advice would you give someone starting this project? Form the mask a few days to a week before painting..make plenty extra peacock feathers as they can be fragile

All I can say is wow. I love the details and color. I am learning and this cake is one of many that really inspires me.
