What materials did you use? Polyester brocade scraps Hand-cross-stitched tiger cut out from a garment interfacing polyfill and foam cording

What are you most proud of? This pillow looks awesome anywhere you put it. I used scraps from other projects to make the whole thing, including the styrofoam filler.

What advice would you give someone starting this project? The applique is quite easy. Always back an applique project with interfacing of some kind before stitching. The piping can be tricky. I used cording from a pillow sham and covered it with the brocade. Hard to stitch on that slick material!

As an LSU Mom and someone who loves to sew, I LOVE IT!

The lady who bought it planned to take it off the pillow and sew it on a jacket to wear to the Lady Tigers' basketball games! ;)
