What materials did you use? Mid weight quilting cottons

What are you most proud of? Using what I had, meaning no trips to the fabric store to get more fabric, figuring out to make what I had work and taking a risk to work with colors in a way I had not done before.

What advice would you give someone starting this project? It was tempting to cut a bunch of layers at a time event though the instructions were to cut them individually. I made a silly 1/4" mistake on my second set of 3 stacked fabrics which was a big bummer because I was trying to only use fabrics that I had. Oops. After that I went back to cutting them one at a time. I am still working on this quilt top so if I come across anything else to add to this section I will!

Thank you! It is really work the risk to work outside of your color comfort zone. I never would have picked these color if I hadn't been in a swap. So happy I did!
