What materials did you use? 100% silk from my stash (yay)

What are you most proud of? The design and the silk looks great- plus I'm using my stash, you know what that means! The shirt has been lined in the same fabric, and I shortened the sleeves to 3/4 for our summer.

What advice would you give someone starting this project? Such an easy class - take advantage and learn

Great work!

Thanks are you making one too?

Such a great pattern, and nice wearable shirt, thank you!

I love your take 2! Can you tell me how you marked your topstitching lines after basting? White chalk just doesn't do it for me.

06/02/2013 Flag

Hi, I don't mark topstitching

Hi, I don't mark topstitching lines, I have a presser foot which has great marks on them, and I look at those and topstitch. Not good at basting either - you might enjoy Craftsy class Sew Faster, Sew Better for techniques.

Does this shirt hang longer on the sides? Or is it how it is hanging that it just looks that way?

10/12/2013 Flag

Yes, it does hang longer on the sides- I quite like that designer touch
