Hello Alex Burt, Welcome to Perspective in Landscape Drawing. Congratulations on the posting of your 2nd assignment [and first project for the course]. Drawing quickly when opportunity presents itself can be an enjoyable endeavor. It seems to be true for you here. Perhaps, in the future you will give more information: Including dimensions of the paper, what type and hardnesses of graphite and a reference image. This is a good effort, please remember that the tonal structure is a means to enhance the spatial structure. For example, the tree trunks are similar in value from the near trees to the distant trees. This cancels or compromises the space. The tree trunks should appear less dark as they go into the distant. Also, be careful about linear description, such as in the fences, road, and ground, they too can enhance or cancel space depending on how they are rendered. I look forward to seeing the posting of your next drawing.
