What materials did you use? Rayon, silk cotton, metallic yarn, ribbon yarn, barrel, round, big hole wooden beads and seed beads in size 8 and 6.

What are you most proud of? Knitting a tube, that is not easy and I felt like a porcupine.

What advice would you give someone starting this project? Don't spend big amounts of dollars on yarn and beads, use what you have, or go to ebay and buy oddments. Doll sculpting needles with corks can become thin knitting needles, they don't cost that much, just sand the points off. Try to use thread that is not too fuzzy, but even that spool of meat binding cotton from the kitchen can be the thread. I have used a few of my partner's welding rods as needles, why not. Experiment.
