What materials did you use? 2 skeins of sock yarn (one color each), 3.75 mm cable needles, tapestry needle, stitch marker

All done! I'm really happy about how this turned out! The hood works well with the shawl.

Beautiful hood. Is is off center? Stephen's drawing in class pictured a hood in the center, which would put the point of the triangle shawl in the back. Your point is in the front, so I'm trying to figure out how you did that?

Awesome! Is the hood near one end of the wingspan? You did an amazing job of integrating the hood. Gorgeous colors!

Thanks everyone for commenting! The hood is placed off-centre so the shawl can be worn with the pointy side in front. If you want to have a look, I've published this as a pattern here:
