What are you most proud of? The colors and points all match.

What advice would you give someone starting this project? Stay organized. It helped me to always have the darker of the two values the same on each ring. For example, on the red ring that goes underneath the orange ring I have the darker on the left. I labeled the coloring page with the letters D for dark and L for light to get me started. I had the same dark / light orientation for every block and so once I knew that, it made the sewing so much easier and faster, But that was a preference that I had to help me out, it really shouldn't matter the dark or light side of each color as long as it alternates.

This is wonderful, I have bought this pattern too, thanks for the tip I will try that. You should do the Eternity Knot block, I have done it and it too is a lovely block. Paper piecing is great fun isn't it? Thanks for sharing

I will have to search for the Eternity Knot block. Sounds like something I will enjoy!

Wow, this is amazing! I love your fabric choices. How will you finish the motif - as a rectangular / square , or will you keep it as a hexagon (which would be a lovely table topper)? Can wait to see it completely finished and hope you'll post another photo.

Thank you for your comment. I liked this so much that I am making a second one. One of the two quilts will be mine, the other will be a giveaway for a guild auction quilt. I was going to go with the original square layout for both, but once I finish the 2nd one I may decide something different.

Okay PieceByNumber, I have thought it over today and I want to expand my larger of the two quilts (I have the center done on a larger sized of the same thing) and play around the the hexagons and triangles created with this pattern into the rest of the quilt. Great idea and I have a lot more paper piecing to do, but it will be easy. I will post when finished. Let's hope it's soon!
