What materials did you use? How I prepared Premo Polymer Clay in various colors, to match Sample Fabrics to make beads for my French Blue and Yellow Summer Bags.

What are you most proud of? Simple rules: Use a dedicated aluminum pan to bake polymer clay. Once this pan is used to bake polymer clay--do not ever use it again to prepare food! Use heavy gauge galv. wire to string beads, and pendants. Pliers will help you bend/form a zig-zag wire stringer to support pendants on bails while baking. Bake beads, buttons, pendants according to package directions. 275 degrees F for 30 minutes is average.

Hey there 2strings. You are my pal. Will you come visit me when we open our B & B? My dear husband says our B & B will be different--that's where the guests make cook their own breakfast on the old 1915 West Bend cookstove, and make their own beds. Jon calls it, "on the job guest training."

So that's what's going on with all the renovation! What a fantastic idea! I'm guessing you live in a beautiful area near water and trees. When do you open your B& B? I'd love to come, but I'm a bit tied down. Don't like to discuss everything on a public forum like this one - just one of the reasons I've made my 2strings email address available on each of my pattern pages.

Girl, I would love to buy your beads. Do you have a website or will they be on Etsy.

Hi Georgy Girl. Yes, I will be selling beads--but first I need to get them photographed. Sorry to say, I'm working on a number of projects right now: the long hallway upstairs plaster restoration at our old Victorian is almost done, and I have a genealogy research trip coming up mid-month, and company coming next week too. Whewww--let me get through the month of April and I'm sure I'll have time to get the Etsy shop up and running with some one of a kind purses and beads for sale. In the meantime--let's keep in touch. You'll have to look up my email address at my website 1893victorianfarmhouse. Drop me a line.

When you get ready to sell beads, don't forget to photograph some buttons for sale, too. I'd love to have some wonderful handmade beads and buttons for my bags, but have absolutely no desire to learn to make them myself. It will take several lifetimes to finish all the projects I've got going as it is. I sure don't need more!

Hi Shoestring!! Hows it going?? WHERE do you find the time for all these fabulous projects and renovations?? Do you ever sleep?? Did you open our B & B yet? Its been a long time since I have e-mailed wondered how things have been!

Hello artangel. I've been so busy working in the studio everyday getting ready for Waupaca Strawberry Fest Sat June 21 downtown--I'll be there selling my handbags, soft luggage, and quilts. I hope you and your friends visit us at the old Victorian. Email me, mrs.durrant1@. I have a gmail account.
