Thanks! It was very well received and yummy :) everyone loved it. As much as the design of the cake is important, the flavor is much more important ... at least for me.

This is just awesome! How did you do the tripod feet for the the grill?

Thanks! I used a wooden dowel slightly angled at the ends which allowed the legs to point outward a bit. Then I nailed in smaller dowels at the bottom to hold then together. I pretty much built a stool from wooden dowels, spray painted it and attached gum paste tires. Let meknow if you need more details.

Hi! Thanks Misshigh. After I covered the cake, I rolled a thick ribbon of fondant which I placed on the top-edge of the cake. Then with a thin fondant ribbon, I held the thick ribbon and the edge of the cake together like I was taping them. Hope this helps :)
