What materials did you use? The grey is part of an XL Twin Jersey sheet set on clearance from Target, the coral color is a fine 1x1 rib fabric I bought a remnant of from a discount fabric store in Orange County.

What are you most proud of? That it worked out!

What advice would you give someone starting this project? I made a video tutorial on how to modify the scoopneck tee pattern for the gathered neck detail. You can see it here: http://youtu.be/lpLq_lc2KfE

I watched your video and am so impressed with your pattern drafting! I do not put so much forethought into my changing of patterns which is probably why they very seldomly match up. I have not even made the basic version but after I do this maybe the video will make more sense to me. I used to have some gathered neck tees like this and loved them. I have enough knit fabric yardage to clothe the whole state of Oklahoma right now so hopefully I will get the hang of it and make one of these.

They whip up pretty quickly. Once you've got the hang, cut out a few at a time!
