What is exciting or interesting to you about your photo(s)? Using a prop and taking the pic from a different angle.

Can you tell us about any special equipment or techniques that you used? Two shoot through umbrellas, one at a 45 degree angle almost in front. And a fill light on the side. Shot at ISO 100 with with a 50mm f1.8 lens. Aperture mode at 1/60sec.

What are you most proud of? The final outcome.

What advice would you give someone starting this project? Get a backdrop or use a green screen.

background very distracting take away from subject. the eye goes toward the mask hanging on the wall using the entire curtian as the back drop would help.

Thanks. I was trying to accomplish the same angle that I saw with a similar pose online. I need a backdrop.

I like it. It's always great to incorporate props into the mix. Grab a roll of seamless background paper in a great color and get your subject in front of it. That way the stuff in the background won't distract your viewers from the main event. Good job.

I used Lightroom5 to darken the background on this one. No more distractions.
