What materials did you use? Cotton fabric for the base, otherwise yarns, threads, fibres, embroidery silks inherited from mother and mother-in-law which I never had a use for - until now

What are you most proud of? I am most proud of breaking out of following patterns/instructions to start following my own lead. This is such an eye-opener, and I have enjoyed the process so much that I cannot wait to do more in this technique.

What advice would you give someone starting this project? Don't be afraid to experiment - above all, have fun!
