What advice would you give someone starting this project? Print the book AND watch the video while you are putting this together. Makes it soooo much easier. The booklet is not quite clear enough on some directions, but having the video makes it clear. I love being able to go back to it whenever I want!

Very nice! I really like the grey fabric with the pops of color inside. Your nieces will love them, I'm sure!

They did! I love them because you can use scraps of fabric and they look fabulous. I do have some difficulty finding iron-on batting by the yard. What's your favorite source?

Thanks for the tip about machine basting. I will definitely do that, as straight lines can be a problem for me without a guide! I also love your fabric choices - I have the gray and white one in my stash too!
