"Monster" mum you should try to learn tatting. My gramma tried to teach me when I was small and I never could catch on. This course has helped so much. Try hhtatting.com for supplies.

Thanks Grandmas do these things I know. I'm the Grandma now (time goes so fast now) and teach or try to my grandkids. The boys love monsters and I think all the girls do in a way too. So far only the girls show an interest in crochet and knitting. My 3 girls did too but none do so now. I said to my youngest who is small like me that maybe she should learn to sew some of her own clothes as its hard to buy ones that don't require almost a total makeover but she only laughed. I gave up sewing a few years ago. Too much to do for everyone else but me.

This is a beautiful edging. Well done. I'm so jealous.

Not sure why it comes up as a crochet category because it is tatting

Lovely, Lovely, Lovely...I have collected antique linens for years and particularly pillow cases and sheets with tatting. I am fortunate to have one set with this pattern as adornment. I think this is my favorite. I'd love to learn this technique, but alas, my hands are not strong. I can, however, admire the LOVELY work of others. Thank you.
