What materials did you use? two or more fabrics, cotton tape, slef-healing cutting mat, grid ruler, rotary cutter with a pinking blade (or pinking shears), sewing machine, pins

What are you most proud of? How much fun it was to make (considering I'm not that keen on the sewing part, just the final result!), and my son's reaction when he saw it - priceless.

What advice would you give someone starting this project? - It's so much easier with the mat, ruler and rotary cutter, but people have commented that it's also not worries with just pinking shears and making cuts. - Don't be tempted to cut the cottons when sewing - the chain piecing bit is a big part of what makes this method quick - You'll get better results if you use true woven cotton tape rather than just bias binding. - leave plenty of tape at the start and end, or loop it so that you have plenty to tie the bunting up with - One of the fabrics I used was drill/home decor weight. It helps to keep the flags firm and flat.
