What materials did you use? Shantung and organza

What are you most proud of? Barbara, Didn't have a chance to make the Vogue 8815 due to time constraints before wedding but watched classes and used your techniques to alter and fit a Vintage Vogue pattern 2903. I think it came out great and, judging all the compliments I got, so did everyone else. The yoke material was machine embroidered on a Baby Lock Ellisimo and really set it off. (Note the matching clutch I make!)

What advice would you give someone starting this project? Like she says, it's not rocket science, it's sewing! don't be afraid to try something new!

Lovely and elegant! The necklace looks great, too. Your son must have been very proud.
