What are you most proud of? Hedwig the Owl. I wanted to really do her justice, and left her block til almost last. DILTB loves the Trevor the toad, and says he smiles just like her sister does lol.

What advice would you give someone starting this project? Leave yourself loads of time to complete the blocks.

Can you see "The Invisible Book of Invisibility"? Lol

Well done! I love the Harry Potter series, too.

really fun quilt...would love to see how you "divided up the blocks"'s so intricate. Fusible applique? (sorry, I'm so curious, I love to know how things are made...) Thanks for sharing...with another Harry Potter fan! J K Rowling rocks! even with adults!

Hi, thank you for your compliment :-). The pattern is paper pieced, and free on the Craftsy platform - just do a search for "The Project of Doom". There are about 30 blocks in the original, but I chose to do only 16 of them to make a lap quilt. I found it easy but time-consuming lol. Cheers, K

Thanks so much for taking the time to respond to my questions. I appreciate good quilting and even more for quilters who don't take themselves "so seriously"...Life's for having fun and this looks like fun!
