What materials did you use? Caron Simply Soft (what I had in my stash), less than 2.5 balls in Sunshine.

What are you most proud of? That it actually looks like a sweater! No extra sleeves or anything weird. (and it is just so gosh darn cute!)

What advice would you give someone starting this project? Listen to the videos first, double check your gauge, mine changed after I started the project. most answers are in the videos, I listened to them even when I was knitting. I also used interchangeable needles at the beginning but found the join not smooth enough so bought a nice 32' circular and used that, found it a wee bit small for magic loop but that was the longest I could find. I have every intention of buying the knitpicks interchangeables when money permits. The most difficult part was the sleeves in the round, kept getting laddering but it disappeared, or blended in or I just got better at it. I was most worried about the button band because I always have problems when picking up stitches. Turned out this was the easiest part! Also, don't worry about having everything Myra suggests. I bought a set of mats (those puzzle like pieces) for $12 at wal mart some time ago for blocking, I use a spray bottle for blocking but will certainly be on the look out for one of those fancy steamers, and I bought lace pattern books at the thrift store. You can work your way up to the nice stuff, the Japanese Lace Book is on my Christmas list.

I love the Caron simply soft yarn; I use it a lot in sweaters. You did a good job.

Thank you! I am hoping it holds up well as I found three more balls of purple in my stash, think I might have to start another!
