What materials did you use? To start, I painted Polwarth wool top and then spun it into fine singles with a lot of twist. I sized the singles to contain the energy and then warped the loom leaving one inch spaces between each one inch of warp threads. I wove with one inch spacers between each inch of tabby. This left open spaces for the twist to return to the yarn when the scarf was washed. The fringe was beaded and then twisted for a tidy edge to an energized scarf.

What advice would you give someone starting this project? I would suggest that your singles be very consistent so the twist is also consistent. Then be sure to size the yarn to hold the twist in place before trying to weave with it. Simple weaving becomes something stretchy and fun when you start with energy!

Another beautiful piece of creativity. Thank you so much for sharing.

You mention sizing the yarn to hold the twist in place when you are weaving it. How do you do this? Thanks
