Here are some details about my project:

The bead picots look very nice, and the joins are good. There are a few issues on the side with the separate rings: the chains are not both facing inward as directed in the pattern - you've got one chain facing inward and the other facing outward. So, apparently you didn't reverse work after the ring. This also is why your rings are not all facing the same side up. Just pointing these details out so that you'll be aware of them, not to be critical. It's still a very pretty needle tatted bracelet!

I appreciate the input. This pattern was a little difficult to get. And my chain pulling tension isn't consistent. But I'm not stressing over it. :) I'm not sure what you mean by "on the side with the separate rings."

I meant the rings on the side opposite the beaded chains - the "R 2-2-2-2-2-2" rings. The way to tell if they're all facing the "same side up" is by looking at the picots: on one side all of the double stitches look complete with their "waistbands" or caps all in place, on the other side at each picot the "waistband" or cap isn't there because it is used to form the picot. Just pointing this detail out only because most people don't notice small refinements until they've been tatting awhile, and it's educational.

Couldn't reply to your reply so am replying here. :) I understand what you are saying now. The ones on the ends are different from the 3 in the middle. The middle ones are backside up. I often wonder when doing a pattern...with all the RW in a pattern, I wonder, "Should this ring be frontside up or backside up?" I get confused on which direction I'm going in relation to the last element stitched. But your class has given me the confidence to try more complex patterns and has helped me so much to sort of "get it" when working patterns. So, thank you! I consider all your comments a blessing and the opportunity to learn more. Wish I lived in an area where more people tat so I could soak up the experience of others!

This is so beautiful. Congratulations on a lovely piece. I hope you don't get offended (I love chooks) but in some weird way they reminded me of my hens but all walking together in line holding hands. Yes I am a bit weird and loving it.

Love that! :)
