What are you most proud of? The color comgination turned out well, and the detail of the skulls and fire really complemented the Chiefs colors [Red and gold, with a touch of white]. I quilted, and made a few accent embroidery details with multi-colored thread, to give it a bit more added detail.

What advice would you give someone starting this project? Just cut and sew carefully to make sure all the points match up - that was a challenge for me. My quilt is not perfect - don't look too closely! But I still think it turned out good. I just had fun making this, knowing my sisinlaw was going to go bonkers over it.

This is great. Must have been a lot of fun to work with these fabrics. Congrats

Did you have a pattern for this? If so, where can I purchase it? It's beautiful and perfect for a quilt for my grandson done with Disney cars.

Hello, there! Thanks for checking out my projects. As far as a pattern, I don't have one specifically for this quilt, but the block I used is called "Churndash", so you can google it, and I'm sure there are tutorials for it on YouTube as well. I just added the yellow sashing around the nine churndash blocks, and wide borders to frame it all. Disney cars sound fun! Happy Quilting! - Jose.
