What materials did you use? 100% cotton yardage and batting

What are you most proud of? I wanted an unusual back so I made two quilt tops. The current pictures are an incomplete quilt as there is no quilting and binding as yet. The hand quilting will be done by my mother. Completed quilts now shown.

What advice would you give someone starting this project? Be careful when you cut the strips. I made a mistake in mine.

Love your work. I don't think of making a pattern on the back, I especially like it.

Many thanks. I saw this somewhere on the internet.

The back is prettier than the front! Carol

I think so too

I've made a couple of weird backs due to lack of fabric or trying to use up some stash. They always go over well with the recipients because they are unexpected. It's usually not a lot of extra work, for the benefit.

How right you are and now I have used nearly all of this pink fabric.
