What materials did you use? Recycled Book Pages

What are you most proud of? Totally, completely green and Earth friendly! I use just about every part of a book that is destined for the garbage bin!

What advice would you give someone starting this project? Easy, easy, easy! Just start with a perfectly square piece of paper and fold. There's no sticky stuff on the flap, so you can choose how (or if) you want to seal it up. I use plain white glue, or little stickers...they add just a touch more cuteness!

Like the idea but what do can you use them for? There's no blank space on the front for a mailing address. They would be cute for giving gift cards.

Or just put a white address sticker on it so it shows up nicely.

I have some nice blank oval-shaped labels from Office Depot. I use them on envelopes like this to give me a place to write the address.

Use white labels for your addresses!

can you send them thru the mail?

I'm wondering the same thing. I've made these from old calendar pages (nice heavy paper) but have been hesitant to send them thru the mail.

What a fun way to wrap a gift card, especially one from a book store.

You could match them to a card wit the gift.
