What materials did you use? 100% cotton scraps and cotton batting

What are you most proud of? I am learning to make use of scraps left from other projects.

What advice would you give someone starting this project? Make use of everything. I even sew pieces of batting to make the size I need.

I like the color of this quilt. The stringy look is the material or did you embroder it? It has a nice look anyhow. You are so thrifty!! Wish I was so well organized!!

The stringy look is in the fabric. It is actually a map of the London England transportation systems. I love the colours also. Thanks.

Love that you combined knowledge from two courses to produce this quilt. Great contemporary look--can't wait to see your next project!

Thank you. I always seem to have pieces left over when I complete a quilt. Probably because my quilts are mainly baby size, so I am following your ideas and making use of these pieces. I now use all left over pieces and also sew my batting pieces together.

Beautiful! I love how the stringy look reminds me of a map of the London Underground. Very contemporary.

Thank you for your kind remarks. The white fabric is actually a map of London, England
