What materials did you use? PMC+ metal clay, 6mm lavender cz, straw, various 3M sanding pads and papers, oil paste (to repair a crack), kiln, rotary tumbler, ring mandrel, ring stopper (to stop shrinkage past my size), kiln blanket to support

What are you most proud of? This is probably the most difficult project I've made to date and I am thrilled with how it turned out. I also made a successful repair on it which was a good learning experience. The bezel cracked in the kiln. With some encouragement and good advice from my teacher, Cindy Pankopf, I was able to overcome this set back.

What advice would you give someone starting this project? Be patient and sand carefully. Go through each of the grits successively to get a nice shine on finished piece.

It came out great!( You also gave great advise to others...couldn't have said it better myself.)

I love your ring. The lavender and silver look great together.
