What are you most proud of? I understand the concept, at least!

What advice would you give someone starting this project? Make a one-color scarf first so you really grasp the stitch before tackling the two-color work. I'm cutting my losses on this swatch and starting over. I see what mistakes I made and I'm hoping fresh yarn will result in tidier stitches. I ripped this thing back so many times that the yarn is just not happy anymore. Thought about changing the colors, too, but I guess I'll stick with these. The yarn is expensive and I already wound the skeins.

it actually resembles real life leaves....cool choice of colors! I like that!

Thanks! You should take Nancy's class. Easy to follow and the results are gratifying.

I also joined that class but am having a 'moment' when I actual start the scarf...cannot get it at all. I signed up for a 1.5 hr class locally to see if the teacher there can tell me where I am going wrong.....It is something silly I know! I love your colours, I got my yarn today (finally - we lost the key to the mailbox and had to wait for hubby to return from a trip with the other key)I bought the pewter and nickel colours like Nancy had so I am really inspired to perfect the stitch. Thank you for sharing your project!

Thanks! Good luck! I hope you can figure out where you're getting stuck. I used the 30-second repeat a lot at first, just watching the same stitches over and over. It's tricky to get into the rhythm of the yarnovers. I found it was a lot easier knitting continental and purling English on the two-color scarf.

Thanks! It was good to do this practice swatch first. The scarf turned out pretty nicely.
