What materials did you use? old burda pattern for a blouse with no darts, tissue paper polyester cotton for the blouse

What are you most proud of? My first FBA - and it worked out well. I started with a burda pattern that I had purchased when I was much younger. So I first altered the hipline according to my measuments and then copied the pattern to fresh tissue paper in order to make the FBA. I assumed the pattern was designed for a B-Cup and I inserted extra width for a D-Cup following Cathrine Cheethams Instructions step by step. Finally I adjusted the lengh of the front facing (which I nearly had forgotten) and tried on the pattern with the dart pinned. It looked right. So, having confidence in Cathrine Cheethams experience, I skipped a muslin and made the blouse directly. It fits very well.

What advice would you give someone starting this project? take fresh paper to make alterations. So you can always go back to the original pattern if you have made any mistakes.

Well done - a FBA is not easy first time.
