I have loved sewing since I was four years old when my grandmother taught me to sew on a button. The next day my grandfather pulled out a handkerchief from his pocket and lo and behold it was loaded with buttons! I now share these sewing skills with MY granddaughters! My studio is in the upstairs room with four large windows in our historical home built in 1886. I have an armoire full of beautiful fabric and a map chest full of buttons, fringe, beads, and all the little pretties that make a bag one-of-a-kind. After a career in economics, and another career in teaching, I am retired and following my passion. A day without sewing is like a day without sunshine!
