- Pink and white fondant (or your choice of colors)
- 2 1/4″ scalloped circle cutter
- Small heart cutter
- Small star cutter
- Fondant rolling pin with 1/8″ guide rings
- Knife tool
- Embossing mat
- White and pink shimmer dust and brush
Princess Carriage Tutorial
Roll white fondant into a ball (approximately 1 ½-inches).
With the knife tool, start at the bottom of the ball and indent a line into the fondant all the way to the top. Continue all around the ball with equal spacing, leaving ¼-inch in between each line
To make the carriage wheels, roll out white fondant with your fingers and cut four 3-inch strips with the knife tool.
Start at one end and coil the strip into itself.
Stand the wheels upright to allow them to dry.
For the adornment at the top of the carriage, roll out another piece of white fondant and cut it to 3-inches. Make an indent in the middle of the strip with the knife tool and coil both ends downward until they meet the center.
Roll white fondant out with the rolling pin and 1/8″ guide rings and cut out a small heart for the doorway.
With a brush, spread white shimmer dust over all pieces of the carriage and glue the pieces together.
With a rolling pin, roll out pink fondant ⅛-inch thick and spread a bit of shortening over the fondant. Place the embossing mat over the fondant and use the rolling pin to impress the pattern onto it. Use the 2¼-inch scalloped round cutter to punch out a circle.
Glue the carriage in the center and allow to dry thoroughly.
Princess Pillow Tutorial
Roll pink fondant into a ball (approximately 1-inch) and with your fingers, shape it into a rectangle. Round out all four sides of the rectangle with the tip of your finger and then pinch all four corners.
With the knife tool, start at the bottom of the rectangle and create diagonal indentations across the pillow towards the top and repeat going the opposite way.
Roll out two strips of white fondant with your fingers and cut them at 1½-inches.
Twist one of the strips into a horseshoe shape.
With the second strip create the first tiara adornment by indenting it in the middle with the knife tool and coiling the sides downward.
Roll out another white strip of fondant and cut it to 1-inch. Indent the middle with the knife tool and coil both ends upward until they meet creating a heart shape. Pinch the end with your fingers.
Roll out some pink fondant with the rolling pin and 1/8″ guide rings and cut out a small star.
With your fingers, roll out white fondant with your fingers approx. 1-inch.
Brush on shimmer dust on the tiara and star and once the star has hardened a bit, glue the star onto the wand.
Roll out white fondant with the rolling pin and 1/8″ guide rings, spread some shortening over it and impress the pattern with the embossing mat. Cut out a circle with the 2¼-inch scalloped round cutter.
Glue all components together and allow to dry thoroughly.
