IF you have trouble getting the pattern downloaded, just right-click on the red square in the e-mail and copy the link. Then paste it into the browser. Voilá – you’ve got the pattern.

In part 2, what size should the final squares be? Also, in Part 3, what should the size be? I’d like to trim them to the correct size but it’s not in the directions. remember it being said on the video but I can’t seem to find it now.

So now I know why there was no chilled bottle wine on the supplies list! AND why you didn’t allow Parts of the Instructions to be available until we were ready . . . 😱! OMG!!! Definitely can’t do this without a rotating table of some kind and looks like a Type A Perfectionist personality is a must. Oh boy, I’m going to need a drinking cruise when this is done!

missed the start but happily following along now despite the poor sound quality in the beginning. Initially had the same issues others experienced with downloading the earlier link for the preparation but all full steam ahead now. I am using my own fabrics as the cost of shipping here to Australia is prohibitive. Happy New Year one and all.

I’m working on the mystery quilt now – just a tad late. However, I must say when the pop-up showed up to join (New Years Eve morning!) I decided to join. I truly thought it was an evening event. Not that I missed anything for information – just all the prize chances – but I guess starting time would have been a great thing to advertise when people signed up. I must say, I have never, ever made a quilt before and am having a great time putting it together, so thanks!
Also, I’m Stephanie, my husband is Keith – he renewed my membership a couple years ago and so I am forever Keith on Craftsy! 🤷‍♀️

Beautiful quilt. This was my THIRD time doing this NYE Mystery. However, this year was not as good as it has been in the past. I was VERY disappointed in the Batik kit I received. There is hardly ANY definition in the first two fabrics used. Cannot see the “pinwheel” in the first block since the two fabrics are so close in color and pattern. I guess my only way to fix this issue is to go out and a purchase different fabric. There goes the 20% discount I received from SH. There were also issues with the mics used. When the “giveaway” person was talking, you could not hear Tiffany or Rob.

For all who couldn’t get the download link to work in the emails….I’ve discovered that the Craftsy links only work when I view the emails in my browser. Give that a try next time.

The idea of the NYE sew along was a good one, but from the very beginning, every email that came had links that were not working. Even the today’s email with the full pattern–the link is not working! It was not user friendly, not tested, and needs to be looked at for issues for improvement. Thanks for trying. Hope I can get the pattern. It looks fun! Happy Sewing Quilting Friends!

Very disappointed in the way this was handled. No notification at all from craftsy nor from stitchin heaven! Advertised as new year mystery – NOT ‘eve’!

Your sound is terrible. You probably need a sound technician to help you as what you’re doing isn’t working. It’s not a good room to film in as there’s lots of echo from all the hard surfaces. Very disappointed, seems like you didn’t practice ahead of time to work out the kinks.
