Knit Your Own Kable Kuff from Adorn Anew!

It’s finally here! After releasing nine Adorn Anew patterns over the course of the last year, Laura Nelkin has released the tenth and final knitting pattern from her newest collection – the Kable Kuff!

Knit your own Kable Kuff

What’s the coolest part about the Kable Kuff? The cables are reversible! Here’s what Laura has to say about it:

Want to learn the secrets of reversible cables?  Kable Kuff will teach you all about them… and then surprise you with the addition of beads!  You’ll get to chose if you want to alternate 2 colors of beads, or go all out with a new color on each cable!

Confession: I’m not much of a knitter. The most complicated thing I’ve ever knit is a washcloth. However, after reading Laura’s clear and well-written pattern I was convinced that I could totally do this myself. So, I headed down to the local yarn store and got everything but the beads – I figured my first attempt at cables was more than ambitious enough.

How did I do? I’m almost done with my first attempt (using Fyberspates Scrumptious Lace in Eau de Nil) and having so much fun! I love how delicate yet intricate the bracelet is, and I’m already planning to knit a second one, this time with beads to match my holiday party dress. While the cables provide interesting texture and nice detail, the beads are what really make the cuff shine. I’m sure that I’ll be able to do it with the help of Laura’s Knitting With Beads course

Like all the patterns in Adorn Anew, the Kable Kuff would make a great holiday gift. For someone who is an experienced knitter, this is the type of project you can start and finish in a snap. I have a couple cousins in college that this bracelet will be perfect for, and as soon as I finish my next one I’ll be making bracelets for them in their school colors.

If you haven’t seen the rest of the gorgeous knitted jewelry you can make from Adorn Anew, be sure to take a look! From jewelry to gloves to shawls, you can find something for most people on your holiday list. While you’re at it, check out Laura’s kits with everything you need to make selected Adorn Anew patterns. These kits make great gifts in and of themselves!
