2. Sturdy Fabric Basket
What can’t you do with an hour basket? This popular FREE sewing pattern can be used to stow fat quarters, children’s books, snacks for the car trip and much more! Better still, you can finish it in 60 minutes or less.

3. Adult Shirt to Kid’s Pajamas
This is a great project as we head toward wintertime. Turn an adult T-shirt into child-size pajamas with this free pattern and tutorial, which you can sew up in about an hour. Think of those cozy winter nights by the fire, sipping hot apple cider, and sew up several pairs for the whole family.

4. Burrito Pillowcase
The pillowcases that came with your bed sheets are probably not as fun as custom “burrito” pillowcases.
