Project

Rotterdam late afternoon

What is exciting or interesting to you about your photo(s)? I liked the contrast that the silhouettes of the walking figures give, but also the sense of perspective that comes from the almost corridor like space between two high buildings. What are you most proud of? That I have both the dark silhouettes but that there is also some detail left in the light parts. You can just see the silhouettes of the people in the restaurant that the two ladies are walking towards. What advice would you give someone starting this project? Might have been worthwhile waiting for figures walking in the sunny part.

Q&A with Miekmiek

David H. Wells asked:
Nice light! The pattern on the ground is especially nice. I wonder about stepping left so the figures are completely against the bright background on the right (or stepping far to the right so the figures are completely against the other main bright background.) Separating them out from the background would heighen the drama.
Miekmiek answered:
Thanks for the feedback. You are right.
