Lesson 1 - Playing with White Balance

What is exciting or interesting to you about your photo(s)? I've seen these options on cameras for years and always simply chose the one which seemed appropriate to the conditions without thinking of it as "white balance". Thanks Rick for the theory behind these. I've taken this series just to (finally) see the different effects under the same conditions for each selection. I'm hoping the full data will come across when I upload. If not this should be the order: Auto, daylight, shade, cloudy, tungsten, fluorescent. The actual conditions were mostly blue sky with scattered high cloud.
