Pattern Description:

This fully illustrated 15 page pattern shows you how to make a stuffed fabric 21-inch (53 cm) monkey lad with removable newsboy hat, baseball hat, tennis shoes, and pirate playset. It also comes with two different shirt options: a tie and collar and also a striped t-shirt.

This Mikey would make a special handmade gift for your little monkey, ideal for birthday or Christmas crafting.

This pattern is in PDF format on 8.5 x 11 paper, so you can print it from your own printer at home on regular paper or card stock as many times as you need for personal use.

Included in the pattern are color pictures, detailed step-by-step instructions and clear diagrams for every step. This pattern is written for folks who have had some basic sewing and embroidery experience and are familiar with common sewing terms.

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • Finished monkey doll is 21 inches (53 cm) long.

Materials:

  • 1/2 yard of small wale corduroy, 1/3 yard woven cotton for shirt plus scraps, 1/4 yard woven cotton for pants, and also wool felt pieces for hats, sword, face and shoes.

You Will Also Need:

  • Yarn for laces and eye patch, scrap of ribbon, coordinating embroidery floss and thread, fabric glue and poly stuffing.
