Pattern Description:

Are you "mad" for matryoshka dolls? Well now you can be "mod" for matryoshka with my latest sewing pattern! These cute and modern gals are just the thing to brighten up your day, perched on a bookshelf, holding your straight pins, or as a friendly doorstop. This pattern is great for beginner stitchers and beyond.

You will receive a 10-page pattern in PDF format with tutorial-style instructions, photographs, and full size pattern pieces (no need to enlarge, just print and sew!).

Included with this pattern:

*hints and tips for sewing and stuffing

*photographs illustrate each step

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • small: 5-3/4"H, medium: 7-1/4"H, and large: 8"H


  • 1/4 yard or fat quarter quilting cotton print (2 per doll)
  • 1/8 yard skin colored quilting cotton
  • 1/4 yard corduroy, twill, or lightweight canvas fabric
  • wool blend felt for hair, cheeks, and tie
  • embroidery floss
  • polyfill
  • stocking
  • weighted material such as beans, sand, or synthetic pellets (not recommended for small children)
  • fusible web
  • interfacing
