Pattern Description:

Create your own, easy to sew Dragon or Frill Neck Lizard (Australian Lizard) mask. Soft felt conforms to the face and sits comfortably. Elastic band at the back for a comfortable, multi-size fit. Great for make believe and dress up fun. Cheap and quick gift idea.

Pattern is easy to customise: add more sequins for a girl, Add paint for a true Australian Lizard look, Add horns and/or ears for a cute dragon.

Your pattern includes 4 pages of pattern and 5 pages of tutorial with easy to follow, step-by-step instructions and colour photos for every stage of the creation process. Easy to read print and no sewing machine needed!

There are 2 sizes in this pattern; 1 for children 1-4 years and 1 for children 5+ years.

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • Fits children of all ages (not babies)


  • 2 pieces each of 12x8" acrylic felt 2mm thick in orange or green
  • thread in dark green, light green and nylon/invisible thread
  • 11" piece of hat elastic
  • length of weed whacker cord
  • sequins optional

You Will Also Need:

  • sewing needle
  • scissors
  • Pattern pages need to be printed in A4 to ensure all measurements are true to the original design. The US standard 'letter' paper size will still feed through your printer despite this size being selected from your print options
