Basic Skills Necessary:

  • Basic sewing and sewing machine skills are needed.

Pattern Description:

While teaching my Book Lovers Block of the month class, I came up with this extra project as a way to use fat quarters. I made aprons for all my grandchildren. They are so useful, quick and fun!

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • This pattern can be adusted to fit most children.

Materials:

  • You will need 2 fat quarters to complete the apron. You may use d-rings for the straps, but they are not necessary.
  • You'll need a sewing machine, scissors and a button. A gathering foot is helpful but not essential.

You Will Also Need:

  • Buttons, ric-rac, thread as desired.
