The sizing is totally off STILL-I made old size 10 too small, then I made new size 10 way way way too big. Not very happy with wasted marterial.

I apologize for all the confusion, and I know how frustrating it is to take the time to cut things out and sew and not fit, let alone waist valuable sweater fabric.

I have thoroughly gone through the pattern today, and made adjustments where needed. I tested and have sewn it up to make sure things are accurate. A new updated pattern has been listed.

I have also added a few more tips.

Let me know your method of payment and I will gladly refund your money for the pattern.

Warm regards

I made the tweaked men's 9-10. Still added the 1/4" all around, and moved my needle position to minimize the seam allowance even more...the slippers came out lovely. They are super fast to make.. The sizing MAY still be a little on the small size, so you may want to add a little all around if you are unsure. You can always cut off, but you cannot add!!I added fleece to every pattern piece, so the end result was an 8-8 1/2 (wide foot) which fit my husband perfect; unsure if they fit the recipient, but someone will definitely want them, they were awesome!

I apologize for all the confusion, and I know how frustrating it is to take the time to cut things out and sew and not fit, let alone waist valuable sweater fabric.

I have thoroughly gone through the pattern today, and made adjustments where needed. I did add that extra allowance and have sewn a pair up and that did the trick. I also tweaked the shape just a tad to make it a little more smooth. A new updated pattern has been listed.

I have also added a few more tips.

I do appreciate your comments, as continuous improvement is what I try to achieve.

If you would like let me know your method of payment and what day you purchased the pattern, I would like to refund your money for he inconvenience I may have caused.
Thanks for your interest and understanding,

Warm regards

I hope you posted that to the wrong person! But thanks anyway. I love this pattern.
I posted all that to help others. I understand patterns often need adjusting, its part of sewing.
Made your new mens 12-13. Happy with the outcome.
More to come in the future, I'm sure.

I followed the pattern and the measurements are off. The largest size is a size 9 in women's. I had to change the pattern quite a bit. I sewed at a 1/4 inch to make the shoe size fit and I changed the binding to 2 1/2 inch wide. There are no child pattern to fit a 6 year old child. It is not worth the price I paid for this pattern because I can't make mens or children slippers. My first slippers I had to throw away because they did not fit right. Very disappointed and not worth the price that I paid for the pattern.

Hello, I am sorry you did not have a good experience sewing up these slippers.
You are correct in that the pattern does not cover all sizes. I do offer children size slippers. The sizing chart goes off of foot measurement, not age.
If you would like to contact me at my email
fibersandtwigs@gmail.com
we can make arrangements for a full refund, and discuss some things that might help me clarify exactly what you experienced.
Thanks for your feedback, as it always helps me improve my design.
I look forward to hearing back from you.

I'd love to make these slippers for my husband. He wears a size 16 and it is almost impossible to find slippers for purchase. How would you recommend I enlarge the pattern to fit?

I would like to make these slippers in Men's sizes 12 & 13. How can they be enlarged? Would Polar Fleece fabric work for the main fabric? Do they have foam sole?

Thanks for your interest! To make the pattern to fit a size 12-13, extend the toe out by 1/2 inch and the heel out 1/2 inch. Do not enlarge the sides. So measure out the 1/2 inch and draw out the similar shape of the toe and heel. You will need to tape another sheet of paper to the patten to give you enough room. If you have more questions, let me know. I can walk you through it.
Yes, thick Polar Fleece works great.
There is no foam in the sole, however, you could try it. I usually just use a thicker piece of felted wool sweater. Just depends the feel you want under your feet.
Good luck, and let me know if I can be of further assistance.

Thanks for your prompt reply. I have downloaded the pattern and cut it out and altered it for the larger size. I will be cutting my fleece fabric soon - for several sizes.

Just a note to let you know I have added a few more sizes to the crossover slippers along with a few new tips and more accurate sizing chart.

There is now a Mens size 12-13 with the foot measurements being 11 1/4 - 11 3/4 inches in length, if that suits you.

Warm regards,
jan

I made the mens 12-13. I think the sizing was pretty good. It was a little "wide" all around, but my son is 6'4", 170 lbs! He is a stick and all shoes fit wide. Thanks for adding the extra sizes. This is a fun quick project.

Pattern is easy and works up great! Slippers are comfortable.
I made size following instructions, measuring foot. Perfect size for my size 9 womens foot.
