Pattern Description:

This PDF file includes graded patterns to fit sizes 18m to a girls 7, and 13 pages of instructions with both photographs and illustrations, for clarity.

This easy fitting A-line dress or tunic top has an elastic collar and waist, and some sneaky tricks along the way to make it look professional. There are no itchy raw edges inside, and the directions include pocket suggestions. This PDF pattern is suitable for an advanced beginner, or one who is willing to make a test garment first.

Depending on fabric choices, this garment can be completely reversible, or the maker can designate an inside and outside.

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • 18m-7


  • 1 yard main fabric
  • matching sewing thread
  • 1 yard contrast fabric (for center panel)
  • 1 yard of lining fabric
  • 1.5 yards of elastic (3/8" or 1/2" wide)

You Will Also Need:

  • safety pin or bodkin to thread elastic in casing
  • basic sewing supplies (like pins, seam ripper, etc)
  • sewing machine and needles
  • iron and ironing board
  • rotary cutter and mat
