Basic Skills Necessary:

  • Basic sewing skills (straight stitch).
  • Pattern pages need to be printed in A4 to ensure all measurements are true to the original design. The US standard 'letter' paper size will still feed through your printer despite this size being selected from your print options.

Pattern Description:

Make your own cute little triceratops dinosaur slippers for someone aged 4-5/6!

They make great gifts, and what little man doesn't like stomping around like a dinosaur? The soft, warm felt makes for great slippers, and even better, they only cost around $10 for materials!

Your PDF pattern comes with detailed instructions, broken down into manageable stages -8 pages with over 30 photos of the detail in each stage. Diagrams of how to do stitches are also included in the pattern for those of us who regularly think, "Now blanket stitch..... Which way do I start that?" Pattern piece sizes are colour coded to make pattern selection easier. The project requires no sewing machine and packs up to be a nice little travelling project.

Inspired by the story 'Boo' by Ros Asquith & Andi Good. A story about building self esteem and learning how to make friends.
