As a kid I want to do everything by myself....and I still live like this, except, now I want to play also with others and I love to show and teach how to play with fabric, so I did start to work on sewing step by step tutorials with my own patterns.
Will you play with me? Come, the fun is starting...
My new thing are my VIDEO CLASSES, a lot of them is about sewing. You could found me here https://www.skillshare.com/lidijamiklavcic and you could join me and play along.
Have a nice creative day.
Cross-Body Hipster Bag on one shoulder, with phone pocket and smaller tote at the bottom with water bottle pocket. On front body belt you have a pocket flap for hiding headphone cables. The idea is to have somewhere on you the phone and that it is safe and easy to reach when you get the phone. I also did put a small tote at the end for all the other small stuff, that you need to take with you.
When I did design this pattern main idea was to have a phone tote, and something that is easy to take with you, something that you could hide the headphone cables and the most important to have hands free for other stuff this version of tote also has water bottle pocket. I like that you could get your bottle without opening the bag. Because I want to protect the phone I did make a phone pocket flap with Velcro closure, so you could run to catch the bus or train. Because I'm still old school I did make a side pen pocket, so you could decide if you will make it or not, but you will get the instructions with it. I do like the patterns to be a little bit flexible, so you could make your own mark on it. But I do suggest to use Velcro for phone pocket, so you wont damage the phone with rivet buttons or something.
If you are wondering where I did get the fabric. I did make it myself. I like to play with color and I like to recycle and if I could do a little bit of top stitch, this is even better. You could read more about the technique on my blog post:
PS stay tuned on my Facebook Page for more fresh news what's happening in my Tutorial Girl pattern design bakery..
Pattern is made for A4 pdf. printer settings and also for Letter size printer settings, and you will also get step by step photo instructions from start to finish. But the best part is that you could make this tote for your different outfits in your favorite fabric print color combination, or in one color, that go everywhere.
One more option for you. If you like my designs, look at Annual Subscription Pattern for 2014, because this design is one of them. So for one price you could get more patterns thru whole year (12 to 20 patterns).
As always the pattern is downloadable, so you could start playing with your fabric stash right away. Enjoy.
