I'm interested in all sorts of arts and crafts, but these days I stick to sewing, with the occasional outburst of embroidery. Someday I'd like to learn to knit and/or crochet, but for now I'm just about being buried alive in fabric! Adding more supplies is probably not a good idea...View all patterns by designer (27) »
Sew a unique carrying case for your camera with this sewing pattern.
This small wristlet pouch features one main pocket on the front to hold your camera and one back pocket for a few other trinkets.
Two intertwining straps hold it closed and provide a carrying handle/wristlet strap. The carrying strap is just the right length to slip over your wrist, but short enough that you can easily grasp the case with your hand.
It was designed for small cameras, but it could be used to carry a small phone, keys, cash, etc.
The flap is held closed by two magnetic snaps + the straps, so this is very secure little pouch.
It is padded with fleece and an additional layer of interlining fabric to provide some protection for your camera.
Pattern pieces for the case are included. You will need to use the ruler and marker/chalk to create the strap pieces (dimensions given).
Pattern document is a printer and ink friendly 8-pages. There are 6 pages of text & color photo instructions, and 2 pages of full size pattern pieces.
This takes about 2-hours to make. Actual time will vary depending on your personal sewing experience and speed.
