Basic Skills Necessary:

  • Create a 1/4" seam
  • You should know how to use your rotary cutter

Pattern Description:

I love log cabin blocks. This quilt was inspired by a panel with little centers. If you can't find a panel to work with the quilt, use your favorite cream fabric. Each holiday season you'll be able to get cozy under your log cabin quilt.

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • 62" x 80"
  • The blocks will be 9" Finished.

Materials:

  • Red #1 - 3/4 yard
  • Red #2 - 1 1/4 yards
  • Green # 1 - 1 yard
  • Green #2 - 1 1/2 yards
  • Center Blocks - 48 3 1/2 " x 3 1/2" from panel or 5/8 yard of cream fabric
  • Cream for border 1 and cornerstones - 1/2 yard
  • Red for border 2 and cornerstones - 1 yard
  • Binding - 5/8 yard
  • Back - 4 yards

  • Thread
  • Pins
  • Ruler, Mat, and Cutter
