Basic Skills Necessary:

  • accurate 1/4" seams
  • Accurate rotary cutting

Pattern Description:

A perfect design to highlight that great large print or 6" panel that you've hesitated to cut! This wall-hanging was designed especially for the Colorado Rocky Mountain Fever Shop Hop 2012! It was so much fun!

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • Approximately 38" x 38"


  • Focal Fabric: 8 fussy cut 6-1/2" squares
  • Accent (yellow in picture): 1/8 yard
  • light (cream in picture): 1/4 yard
  • light-medium (lavender in picture): 1/4 yard
  • medium (green in picture): 1 yard
  • dark (purple in picture) 1 yead
  • Backing: 1-1/4 yard
  • Batting: 1-1/4 yard

You Will Also Need:

  • sewing machine and accessories
  • neutral thread for piecing
  • matching, contrasting, or neutral thread for quilting (your choice)
  • rotary cutter with sharp blade / cutting mat
  • 24" quilter's acrylic ruler
  • 6" square-up ruler (optional, but nice to have handy)
